What can a group of senior moms not do?
They will do anything to see their children be recognized for their accomplishments.
Danelle Addison, Kim Bovo, Terra Evans, and Kim Hazard put together a parade for the senior class to participate in while the community watches. The date was set for June 7th, 2020 and the turn out was amazing!
Another huge thank you goes to the Evans Police Dept., Brant Police Dept., Angola, Brant, Evans Center, Farnham, Highland, Lake Erie Beach, North Evans Fire and EMS Depts., Evangola State Park, Chris Willard/LSC bus transportation, our community members, teachers, family members and to the senior moms who planned this event.
The seniors started at Evangola State Park with their decorated cars and went down Lake Shore Road up Lake Street, down Main Street and ended with Beach Road passing the High School.
The wonderful signs and cheering from our community members made this day even more special. 205 cars were involved in this parade, 190 of them being seniors. This is a bittersweet day the Class of 2020 will never forget. I know I won’t.
