This years homecoming week started on October 11th and ended with the Homecoming dance on October 15th.

The annual Powder Puff  game took place on Wednesday, October 12th. To kick off the game, the freshman went up against the seniors. Although the seniors lost against the freshman, they put up a great fight. With a final score of 29-27, the freshman were of to the championship match against either the sophomores or the juniors.

The sophomore and junior teams battled for the ball and this was a tight game also. The juniors pulled out a close win and  were headed to championships, leaving the sophomores back in prelims.

When the championship game was underway it was the fight for the winning point. The juniors and sophomores were tied for a good portion of the game, matching each other point by point. As the game went on, it was clear who wanted the win more. Overall the juniors came out on top, with the freshmen not far behind. Freshman Academy teacher, Mr. Connors, admitted that, “This was one of the best games I have witnessed in my eleven years of teaching!”
